About Odessa Scout Pack and Troop 286
Pack and Troop 286 has been a part of Odessa Missouri for over 80 years. Founded in 1935, Pack and Troop 286 is the Scouting home for the youth of Odessa, MO. The program relies on local volunteers and our chartered partner (Odessa Community of Christ Church) to deliver the traditional Scouting programs for Girls and Boys including Lions (Kindergarden), Tiger Cubs (1st grade), Cub Scouts (2nd thru 3rd grade), Webelos ( 4th tru 5th grade) and Scouts BSA (6th grade and up). The Boy Scouts of America is the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training.

Cub Scout Pack 286
Cub Scouting is for girls and boys in kindergarten through fifth grades, or 5 to 10 years of age. But, it’s not just for kids!
Scouting gives parents and their children an opportunity to make memories together, while helping kids develop skills and character traits that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Whether it’s serving as a den leader, going camping as a family, or celebrating the achievement of earning a new badge, parents can be as involved as they’d like!

Scouts BSA Troop 286
Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for youth in the fifth grade through high school. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
Scouts BSA has a lot to offer with a a uniquely hands-on learning experience and the opportunity to earn merit badges reflecting each Scout’s budding interests, youth unlock a world of discovery around them and forge a path for the future.
